The last couple of weeks when Mom was at Hospice House, Dad and I spent hours and hours talking, laughing, crying, remembering, whispering and praying by her bedside, in the visitor's lounge, at 341, at Warm Friend and while riding in the car. One day after little to no sound sleep, we were once again driving to Hospice to see Mom when this song came on the radio. We turned, smiled at each other, then cranked the radio up and sang along at the top of our lungs.....laughing about the irony of it all. "Everybody wanna go to Heaven, but nobody wanna go now"....
